GETTING TO PALMERVILLE STATION

Palmerville Station can be accessed by airplane or helicopter.

By Airplane, arrival to the Palmerville Airstrip (ALA) YPVI is via a 15-20 min flight via Cairns Airport. 

Aircraft that land are Cessna Caravan, King Air or other charter aircraft. 

All flights to Palmerville Station Air Strip YPVI must be arranged in advance to ensure the strip prepared and cleared of Livestock.

Please note: Palmerville Station is approximately 1500 square kilometres in size, and therefore distances on the station can take several hours to reach locations around the station by vehicle. 

The airstrip located closest to the Farm Homestead on the Western Boundary of Palmerville Station and is a 50 minute drive to the Camp Grounds. 

The airstrip is a 10 minute drive to the exclusive Homestead Experience.

Palmerville Station has multiple landing areas available for viewing cultural art work (through one of the authorised tours booked directly with the operators), fishing locations, the Cannibal Creek Camp Grounds, Dogleg Creek Camp Area (no facilities at Dogleg Creek, Camping only).

A helicopter journey from Cairns, providing sweeping aerial views of the 180 million year old Daintree Rainforest and the rugged terrain that surrounds of Cape York and Palmerville Station.
