Daily Rates for a personal Western Yalanji Ranger Tour

$950 for the day, follow the ranger around the property learning about culture and their personal stories and connection to country. 

  • Meet your Western Yalanji Ranger at the Ranger base at the Palmerville Camp Grounds at Cannibal Creek,
  • admire the artwork of Traditional Owner Radayne Tanna on the Ranger base walls, and
  • learn of the re-connection of the Western Yalanji People with Palmerville Station after 90 years absence due to the Stolen Generation, 
  • Follow your Ranger down to the Sacred Limestone Valley, learn about the caves and water holes, the history and the research. 
  • Pack a lunch and sit by the ancient rock pools and maybe have a swim in the pristine waters and learn about the local aquatic life 
  • Explore a cave with rock art and understand the deep connection and energy of the stories they tell
  • A slow drive back past the Maytown Crossing and learn about the impact of the gold rush on the traditional owners
  • Return to the Palmerville Camp Grounds and Ranger Base stopping at various lookouts and points of interest
